D-Max is highly experienced in both preparing and reviewing construction and development project submittals for public agencies.
- Hydraulics and hydrology studies
- Construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and Water Pollution Control Plans (WPCPs),
- Standard Urban Storm Water Mitigation Plan (SUSMP) WQTRs, SWMPs, WQMPs, and HMPs.
- Document/Plan Review
- Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMP)/ Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP)
- Hydromodification Management Plans, including analysis of SDHM, SMRHM, and SWMM modeling data
- Hydrology and hydraulics studies
Our Qualified SWPPP Developers write SWPPPs and WPCPs for public improvement construction projects, including those subject to the latest California Construction General Permit.
Our development project submittal technical reviews include consideration of hydromodification and water quality impacts. We compare proposed low impact development (LID) practices, integrated management practices, source control measures, and alternative treatment facilities against local and regional standards. We also conduct historical plan checks, including reviews of supporting documents.
As a member of the San Diego Copermittee Land Development Work Group, we have been actively involved in development of various development standards manuals and plans. D-Max has updated development manuals, ordinances, and approval checklists for local jurisdictions to incorporate new regional or state requirements (SUSMP, Hydromodification Management, Construction).
We are also very familiar with rainfall-runoff simulation hydrology models such as Hydrologic Engineering Center – Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS), Hydrological Simulation Program Fortran (HSPF), and Clear Creek Solutions, Inc. San Diego Hydrology Model (SDHM), which is based on HSPF.
